Grease filled die issue caused the M not to form properly.
Common, nothing major.

1998 off center. I know, no big deal right.

 

Still, it's in really good condition for pocket change

 

Stained and fingerprints.

 

It looks like a misaligned die (MAD), not a true off center. Check the reverse, if f it's aligned correctly, then you have a MAD. They are common and don't carry any additional value.
