I recently received a coin collection, but the collection is more focused on quantity than quality. I need to decide if I should turn these common coins into the bank or do a variety search. I'm sure that these coins have varieties but do any have a above face value? Here is what it is

    1972 P&D Half Dollar
    1979 D SBA Dollar
    Mixed Date Eisenhower
    2000 P Sac $1

Does anything stick out to have cherry picking profitability?

A quick google should suffice and take little time.

Possibly, but I would save them. I have tons of Kennedys, Ikes, and SBAs. They arent part of my main collection, but maybe I need the money at some point. Maybe I give one to a cousin or something. Coins like that arent circulating much. Keep them when you get them. Just my opinion.

Well, there you go. If you like them, keep them. Monetarily, strictly speaking and the possible value of them would be answered with a quick search though. Just plug in the date and type and rare, then you'll know.

Check the '72P Kennedy for the DDO on the motto, IGWT.

Check the '72D Kennedy for the missing designer's initials, "FG".

There are quite a few varieties for the Ike so you might want to check them with the "Ike Group".

Check the 2000P Sac for the "Speared Eagle" variety. It's a die gouge through the body of the eagle.

Personally, I would sell and 1979 D SBA Dollars you don't want. I would be interested in buying if you do!
