Should I have it graded?

Hello Everyone: somewhat new coin collector here. Started a few months ago after a 55 year layoff. Seems things have changed just a bit but I decided to start collecting again for fun and as away to leave something to my kids and grandkids as an investment and hobby for them. I recently purchased a $100 platinum proof coin from the US Mint. The mintage seemed fairly low.Just received it a few days ago. With a coin in such beautiful condition already and coming directly from the mint, should I have it graded? I've been searching online and have run into many different opinions on grading but haven't seen anything about grading a brand new slabbed proof coin from the mint. Any direction you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I would keep it in the OGP.

    Me too.

And be sure to save the original packaging & certificate.

Unless you can tell the difference between a PF70 and a PF69, I wouldn't risk spending the money for certification. The Mint has gotten really good at spitting out PF70's, and PF69's usually take a hit in value as a result. All it takes is the slightest little pinprick to drop the grade a point.
