Picked up $10 worth of customer-wrapped rolls yesterday. They were all notated as to their 'breeding' on the wrapper, so I knew I had something different here. Turns out they were a "hoarder's" or possibly collector's rolls--as they were all nearly AU/BU. These rolls were picked clean. Not even a greaser in sight I made myself four nice and shiny AU rolls and left the "reds" in place to tuck aside and the remainder will be released into the wild. So I made a few dollars worth of collectible value and had an interesting search. Enjoy your week, everyone
I wonder if anyone ever writes on their rolls "JUNK" or "CRAPPY ZINCOLNS" or something like that? Chris
my bank wont accept them if there is any writing on them. so i have to put a dot on them as to not waste my time if i get them back
banks around me dont accept rolled coins of any kind, they make you dump them in coin machine, so no such thing as "customer wrapped rolls" around here...
How often do they calibrate their machines? I've found that many machines can be "off" as much as 11-12% in the bank's favor. Chris
