Missing reed on Canada Dime

    Here's one I haven't seen before. One of the reeds is missing on this dime. It must have broken off of the collar.

    That's solder - might have been in a bezel

    I was thinking a small Collar Die Break? Maybe?
    But I understand the Bezel damage a coin would receive.

    The bezel makes sense, and if it was soldered where the two ends of the bezel met, it would stand to reason that silver solder would fill that space. But when the bezel was removed I would think it would leave a rough edge. Unless it was heated to remove it. If that was the case I would think the solder would run over the edge of the coin.
    There is also a line on the left side that I would think would have been filled with the solder.
