uncertain of the numismatic value and proper storage of some coins

Obviously the post title suggests my ignorance of the subject but have recently been left a collection and am in the process of trying to figure some things out. The older dollars and rarer coins are easier for me wrap my brain around but have some " later date coins" that Im not sure what to do with. As an example I have some 64 Kennedy halves, 55 Franklins, 55 D quarters which are all currently stored in tubes. All are labeled BU or UNC and appear to the layman, me, to be in wonderful condition. My question is should these be stored individually, say in flips, or are they fine in tubes. How do I know they posses a value to collectors above their silver content without getting them graded as it would appear that process is fairly expensive given the potential for the coins in question.

BU Rolls of 90% coins usually hold a premium above melt due to its high condition!
Pictures would help a lot in such determinations.

    Here is what I recommend
Check Ebay, look at Completed Sales!
These will show you what people are willing to pay for it

Some of the quarters and Franklin halves may be worth over $20+. Keep them in the tubes for now.

Doesn’t sound like you need to sell right away. Treat them carefully. You could turn a $100 coin into a $5 coin real easy. eBay bidders would take each coin to it’s near top value. If you stick around here and post some of the other goodies you found, you will get to sell them on the CT buy/sell forum.
