I got a mailing from the British Royal Mint saying that a new design will be used on their uncirculated coins. The new designs have not yet been released. Has anybody else heard about these new designs? Sadly, they also say that their US office in Minneapolis will be closed so all coins must be shipped from the UK and paid for in pounds. This means that US checks cannot be used.

No British coins reguarly display the royal arms in whole, so I fail to see how an alteration would be significant.
