Here is a Caracalla Tetradrachm that I picked up on ebay a few months ago. It actually went with no bids but mine & ended up getting it very cheap, $50. When it arrived it also came in an old Agora Auctions tag, and to boot, it's one of my heaviest tetradrachms in my collection, even over my Athens Owl. In hand, it's so much nicer. For sure a top 2019 contender. Caracalla (198 - 217 A.D.) AR Tetradrachm Mesopotamia, Carrhae O: AVT·K·M·A ANTONЄINOC ·C-EB · ·, laureate head of Caracalla right; two pellets beneath rear truncation. Strange. I find these more interesting than the Athenians but Athena is better than Caracalla and I like owls better than eagles. Maybe it is the mint city codes??? Antioch leg Beroea 'winged animal' Cyprus wheat

Mat, You stole that coin for $50 ! A weight of 17.10 gm is astonishing . I bought a nice example of that coin type long ago & paid more than $50 for mine. See photos below. My coin weighed a hefty 14.72 gm.

Indeed. The Agora auction was from 2017 and bidding closed higher than you paid then add in the auction house juice and shipping etc.. I'd say you did great on a fine looking heavy tet.
