    Hello,

I have a 1951 penny. (Yay) This penny however is not like all other 1951 pennies. I can not find any information on it anywhere. As if it should not exist. It's not in that great of condition first and foremost. Now here's the kicker. It is not a wheat penny. It also has no mint mark. The spacing between the 19 and 51 is odd and can only be read under great lighting. It looks to be bronze. Anyone have information on this? Thanks in advance.

What do you see then? The Memorial Reverse did not exist is 1951. They started using it in 1959...
No Mint mark means it was minted in Philadelphia.

Do you clear pictures of your Cent? Both sides please.

That is not a 1951 Cent... looks like a damaged 1991 Copper coated zinc Cent
I see Zinc exposure on both sides. The second 9 most likely had a Plating Bubble and burst due to Zinc Rot.

I can't get a great picture but trust me it's a 5 not a 9 look at the curve of the 5 and it's not copper either. Let me clean it and see if that helps

Trust me... it's a Copper Plated Zinc Cent that did not exist in 1951... It's a damaged Cent

And once again... the memorial reverse did not exist in 1951. I don't think they even thought of changing the reverse design 8 years earlier when they changed it in 1959.

Not fake.. Just Damaged. It's a real 1991 that has Plating Damage. We see these all the time. I have seen them a lot over the years.

When someone says "trust me", that's the point when all trust goes out the window.

Not an expert but I would say the 2015 is damaged and not struck wrong.

Your 1951 is worth a couple of cents and as stated the 2015 is just damaged. Post some clearer pictures of the others, I see an Indian head cent and a couple of Barber dimes.
