Storing coins in baggies

    I just found some ugly "toning" on some nice Morgans I ignorantly stored in small cheap ziplocks, I use apple brand also, and never had a problem with them! Costly lesson!

    They are cellophane, pretty well inert to everything and sealable using heat. While in an unbroken cellophane, you can bet they are in mint condition environmentally speaking. Even when the cellos dry out and become brittle, as long as you dont move them, they remain effective. I've had some turn to yellow brittle and upon moving them turned to dust, and the coins were still 100percwnt blast white! They were 28 years sitting in one spot in an unsealed basement.

    Thought you said 'Bagles'. Read it wrong. Sorry.

    However, if any of you folks out there plans to store your coins in bagles, think again. You might crack a tooth.
