well I finally found silver while roll searching

Hi All,
After searching 2 boxes of halves from brinks, I finally found silver, a 1968-D along with a bunch of NIFCs' and a slightly off center 1971-D. There were other halves that were slightly off center but not like this one. I am guessing it was a common defect with this year as my other ones are also 1971-D

So I guess my spare time hobby paid me. But it was well below minimum rage, I mean wage. But it was fun and I will continue.

I have asked my bank if they can get me a $1,000 bag of Ikes', if they can I will pass on the info.

I'm searching for Silver Jefferson nickels . No luck so far but I'm not giving up .

 

Meow found one in the second nickel roll Meow ever hunted. But it took a long time to find the second one. Two buffalos came for the ride too. Been doing it for about a year now.

 

Your 1971 is probably a misaligned die strike or MAD. Need to see the reverse to be sure though.

yup it's a misaligned die strike. only on 1 side.

 

Don't - I have found about 8 in the last year and I only go through 5 rolls twice a week or so.
