Wait a minute, you almost got a permanent ban because of Kyrptonitecomics? Someone was defending that ATer? Just wow.....

 

He was banned because his mouth (or hands rather) took his holier than thou attitude to a new level and decided to attack the site.

 

I'm not sure if this was a post made in jest or not, but Kryptonite wasn't an ATer. He was someone that accepted consignments and auctioned off many naturally toned coins. A few years ago he ran into some financial troubles and other worse charges.

Yes he calls the eBay store "Orlando Mint" and his eBay name is edynamicmarketing.

Again there is no relation to kryptonitecomics (although edynamic did appear to consign some of his stuff before kyrpto's fall).

 

@Casman what was the dealer who took your money? Did you ever get a refund or ? I mean I wouldn't be standing here letting someone steal my money!!!

 

Shane was a cool guy. It's hard to believe he would get into that type of stuff.

He let himself be goaded into rage, possibly by a sock puppet.

 

@Mkman123. The dealer was Mrearlygold. 17 days after payment I got a paypal refund with no explanation and the item remained for sale on his website. At day 7 post purchase I requested an order status because I'd paid extra for expedited shipping. No response, no order confirmation email, just nothing. So after a few more days I'd sent another email to customer service. No response.

It was at that point I remembered this guy posts non-stop at CU including his bragging about having the longest bumped BST thread in history.

I kinda thought maybe he don't run his own show. So I sent a PM. IIRC it was Just thought you should know your customer service sucks. I'd expected a response like maybe what's the issue...

Instead a few hours later, I couldn't log in. Baby told his Mamma and I was Banned. Complete nonsense.

 

That's a shame. I guess CU took that as abuse. I might have said something like that myself. Chances are that one mod made the decision to ban you. He probably did not know all the history of the problem.

 

@Casman Was this during the time he had his Vietnamese wife steal all his stuff? I remember he was posting a ton about having all his coins stolen and then he posted a few times when he was on medication going off on a tangent. If it was during this time, perhaps he was super stressed,etc? Oh well, I don't collect US coins anymore so I would never buy from him.

 

No, my fiasco was a year or more before the airing of his laundry.

He certainly wasn't too busy. He posted non stop on the forum, along with his daily bumps promoting his sales. Free advertising by sig line without regard shouldn't be allowed.
