    clearly looks like glue now with the close up pics!!

    go to a brighter room when you take pics too.
    use a piece of blank white paper to help your camera focus on the coin itself versus any texture around it. (or black paper on silverish coins to help the sensor focus directly on a coin).

    I have 2 cell phones. The iPhone is pretty good at taking pics of coins. The LC Stylo seems to be designed to take pics of people .. small objects not so much.
