I'm thinking of restarting the coin club at the middle school where I work. At first, I only had three regular kids. I've been working with other after school clubs since then and I think I might have more of a following. Any thoughts or ideas of what I could do to increase the popularity? Also, I'm having a great time with the Lawrence Coin Club. I've met a lot of really cool people. It's kind of funny being half the age of the youngest guy there. I feel a little out of place, but still very much at home. I feel like I've brought a lot to the club and in return, gained even more. Any ideas on how we can increase popularity of that one as well?
The ANA has something called Coins In The Classroom. From what little I know about it it is something you can use to discuss coins in a classroom without reinventing the wheel yourself. You might start there if you are a member.
