It's nice to welcome a newcomer to the forums, but it is even nicer when you are able to post such a cool-looking error. Perhaps @Fred Weinberg or @paddyman98 or @JCro57 can give you an idea of its value. Chris
I believe that I can see the copper on the edge. Did you click twice on each image to enlarge it further? Chris
A beautiful double struck saddle Quarter and with a date. Watch those staples. This coin needs to be sent in to be professionally graded. A wonderful example of a Mint error. Minimum value $250.00, more if slabbed.
I agree with Saddle Struck and with the date showing. 1966! Beautiful. Worth? $100.00 - $200.00 raw IMHO
I took a look at the double strikes that Fred has for sale on his website. I think this one has them beat! Chris
Thanks for your replies. These are from a family collection that we just came across today... there are a number of mistruck coins... this is another one...
Man, I can't remember the last time a "double struck coin" thread from a new poster showed an actual double-struck coin. Both examples are impressive. Welcome to CoinTalk!
