    Gold is wild but the date was changed, on the gold before you. An easy mistake from a new Member @johnmilton .

    Unless I misunderstood, Larry indicated that gold would be wild, as is the case with commemoratives, and should be posted when things got “stuck.” The only thing I am unclear of: does the gold have to be of the same date as the last coin posted? Or can it be any date? @ldhair

    My understanding is that gold is wild, BUT to play the "first" gold piece you still need to have the same year as the previous piece. Once you have that "first" gold piece you can then play as many gold pieces with as many dates as you want, as the previous piece WAS a gold piece.
