That photo is so oversharpened and poor it is impossible to say for sure what the coin will look like, but with that said, it doesn't appear to me to be an attractive coin. On the bright side the return policy is good (not great), so I hope I'm wrong and please let us know how it turns out....Mike

p.s. assuming it's real, the worst you did was throw away about $20 -- not much downside.

Yeah, let us know when it gets here, a bit tough to tell on the pics. But, if you like it, then I think you did okay. :thumb: ;)

You guys crack me up! 1934s for 30bucks? thats less than 1/2 price for a VF. Try building a BU Peace album, you'll find out what some of these "bullion" peace dollars cost.

Most of us cant afford to piece together a MS level album of any type and $30 level coins can bring satisfaction.

Look what a MS 1934s is going for at Bowers and Morena.

I have a couple 30$ mistakes that will need to be upgraded but its 30 not 3000 so it just doesnt hurt that much to take an occasional gamble especially if you strive to buy well under book so as to resell the coin at its true value later if necessary and not take a loss.

IMHO the coin is a F-15 and not a VF-20! However, unless the shipping costs are real high, then it was not too bad of a deal! Still, the coin was listed as a VF-20 (and even in the Title which I believe violates eBay's rules and policies) and it is clearly below that grade (I base my opinion on the wear on the Eagle's right wing feathers which is too much to make a VF-20 grade).

The coin is listed as "1934-S PEACE DOLLAR VF". That is perfectly legal. Only numeric grades are against the rules.

sounds like you did good than. One day I'll be able to place a 34's into my albumn, one day. Might have to hit the lotto, but I'm saving up for the right one to show up.

Hey, as long as the hobby is happy, it's all good man. As long as the coin meets your expectations.
