Please continue to remove the individual notes from the booklet and sell them individually. Since the serial number on the booklet is the same as each note in the book, I anticipate the value will decrease astronomically over time.

Collectors such as myself, prefer the complete booklet and in mint condition.
The more of these notes that get parted out and destroyed, the more valuable my set will become!

    It's a win-win.......

If you cannot tell, I am being sarcastic, please stop parting them out..PLEASE

You should have already come to the conclusion that the food stamp booklets with one missing stamp are usually the result of a junkie selling one stamp to get a fix or an alcoholic to get a bottle or a nicotine addict to get a pack of cigarettes.

Maybe you should start collecting EBT cards instead!:woot:

I had to see for myself what he was referring to. I had no idea people actually sell and buy these darn things... why?

Gosh, I don't know. Why do people sell and buy defective pennies? ;)

I thought it's illegal to have these without authorization.

I think it was "back then" but "now" I don't think so. But I could be wrong.

It has been legal for people not on the program to possess food coupons since 2013.

And, just like our paper currency, there are replacements. Signified by a star before the serial number.

tlasch- Not being an expert on these, out of curiosity, can someone still use them, or not?

No, USDA coupons have been demonetized and replaced with SNAP/EBT.

Years ago I had the authorization from the government and went to the bank to purchase my supply of food coupons, I felt like two cents and somewhat ashamed to get them from the tellers. It felt like they looked down on me. Now I'm much older and don't give ******.

Indeed there are! I saw a photo of a butterfly fold error recently. In time, more of these will start to show up.
