1936-S penny Double Die w/ eyelashes!?!?

    im pretty excited to have opened a roll today and find a penny I’ve been looking for 1936-S double die on obverse. To my knowledge he has eyelashes as well;)

    I understand what you were trying to show. I was telling you that your pictures are not good enough for anyone to tell if your coin is a doubled die or not.

    Sorry, but I'm not seeing the eyelashes, or doubled die.

    That’s okay I was just excited and my camera is not good enough to show. The eyelashes is probably dirt but looks like eyelashes so was laughing about it.

    You must know this.. Mint Marks are not Doubled Die.. They were hand punched into the Obverse Die so they can't be a Doubled Die issue.

    So what your are seeing is a result of Die Deterioration doubling that has absolutely nothing to do with a true Doubled Die variety

    YES! Someone read the "Attention New Members" post! In the post I mentioned that suspected errors should be circled.
