Post a Proof Coin

I found a few proof coins that I liked, here are a few.

This arrived today. Last of the three-cent nickels. Mintage: 3,486.

 

I was building a nice set of those but sold most of them to come up with quick cash for a home project. Down the road I want to build a complete set of cameo proofs in that series.

 

Of course, the day after I bought this one, the dealer put up a 63 cameo. LOL.

Thanks. I want 64 cameo or higher. That said, one can get a very nice proof at 63 without breaking the bank. If the demand ever picked up with this series, given the low mintages, the prices should go up as well.

Thanks. Not a particularly rare or expensive coin, but just a nice example of those first years of the Kennedy Half Dollar. I also put together a set of the 2014 enhanced half dollars, the special editions. All NGC PF or SP 70. I'm working on photographing them and I'll post them soon.

 

I was lucky and nabbed a set of 2014s in NGC 70 on a Great Collections auction. Item got totally over looked.
