Yeah, it's in a 2x2 seller's photos. I'll take better pics when I have it in hand.

Got it in a bulk lot for what came out to a nickel a coin. This one is a mule and has a pretty decent catalog value.

I finally found a reference for this pattern. It is not listed in Krause, but it is listed in Munzkatalog Ungarn as pattern 2225 (R10). Like KM-481 (19mm bronze), but struck on a 16mm double thickness iron planchet.

I haven't been around for the last 10 to 12 days Been away on business.... really starting to dislike hotels, and SouthWest airlines !
However I did run across this in my travels....
An 1915 Cuban 2 Centavos...in a an old soap bar Anacs holder.
What really sealed the deal was the old slab is in mint state condition not 1 Nick, or scratch on it....I can't recall the last time I saw a soap bar so pristine!
This coin isn't rare mintage wise but judge for yourself as to its condition, which after I do a GTG will post the entire slab.
This coin was designed by Charles Edward Barber, two years before his death in 1917,at the age of 76, laided to rest in Philadelphia Pa.
Barber was the sixth engraver for the United States mint. He served under 9 U.S. Presidents as chief engraver at the mint.
He also engraved world coins for the Kindom of Hawaii, Szechuan provence of China, and Cuba.
This specimen does not really fit my collection so to speak however I could not pass on it for the reasons stated above and the images below. C:windowsTempE545 - 20190301_141259.jpg C:windowsTempE546 - 20190301_141429.jpg

I think it's a half penny. For some reason they feel the need to get technical there in Jersey.

It is a halfpenny, and Jersey for a time had 13 pence to a shilling rather than 12.

@coin_nut Nice thai baht, I think the date for these is considered 1876-1900

I agree. Krause Y#34, Baht, 1876-1900. To bad it was not the 2 baht pattern you'd be rich. 25K

I thought it was the 2 baht, until I carefully read the words "baht nung". Here is an odd denomination for y'all. 7.2 candareens, silver. Got it for 12 cents in a big batch of mixed world coins. 1890-1908 CN 7.2 c obv.JPG 1890-1908 CN 7.2 c rev.JPG

@coin_nut Interesting, just looked at the link and the siamcoin link they had on numista. I looked at two of my slabbed ones, both are the long tail, NGC and PCGS both date it at 1876-1900, maybe they dont distinguish the two yet? who knows. Now with my OCD, I wanna get a short tailed one hahaah
