Can you please tell me what is the value for my Confederate States of America 1862 one cent coin

Please post clear pictures of both sides of the coin. There are many copies or reproductions of Confederate coins, and very, very few real examples. We'll need photos to help you with yours.

Value of my coin please

 

I do not believe there were any true 1862 cents minted by the CSA, but a large number have been made as souvenirs at CSA " get-together " events. Jim

 

We need pics but chances are yours is a souvenir piece.

 

None were made, if dated 1862 it is a fantasy piece.

 

The real thing is dated 1861. The original pieces are quite rare and expensive.

In 1961 a coin dealer named Braslow made a copies of the coin from canceled transfer dies. The Red Book says those pieces have little value, but I see dealers asking $35 for the copper ones, which are the most common. I don't know that they worth exactly, but they are something more than worthless.
