    I think many people forget or just don't know what a great American hero George Washington was. It is very worth while to read about his life, he was much more than the remote looking figure on the 25 cent piece.

    I enjoy the VT. One nice thing about the State quarter set is that there are enough different designs that quite a few are pleasing. Of course, this means there are some dogs out there too. I just wish the coins would have higher relief to better pull out the designs. Here's one design I like...

    I totally agree. I would love to see the Vermont design on a 5 oz puck. The Washington State would be a good candidate too.

    It is hard taking pictures of proof coins! I am trying to diffuse the lighting with a sheet of paper and it cuts the glare...

    What's up with the "E PLURIBUS UNUM" on that one? The whole reverse has a rather mushy looking strike.
