    Found this in pocket change yesterday :D Im 90% sure it is what i think it is, but i need a second opinion. Is it missing a clad layer?

    It would be far easier to tell if you posted clear decent sized pictures of the coin without that busy and distracting background!

    Looks like it was dipped in Motor Oil and left there for abit.

    Looks like it was either put in some sort of oil, or toasted over a stove or something to me Cody. Just toning, but I could be wrong. BTW, what is the background? I like it. :D Distracting, but I think it's cool. :D :kewl:

    Well, i know it's not toning, because theres no trace of nickel on it, not even the edge. It's starting to corrode the way a lincoln does too.

    And the background is my little cousin's doodle art thing, I was baby sitting her this morning. Its one of those black felt color yourself posters.
