1909 VDB Cent S on Lincoln's shoulder?

I think we explained a few times over the past few weeks with members asking about weird marks on Cents that look like misplaced Mint Marks.. Its just Paredolia!

 

Yes sir, it looked awful real I was just checking. I put it in my Paredolia collection lol.

 

Not an S mintmark. It's an upside down 5.

 

That 'S' stands for shoulder - it was put there to help those unfortunates who don't know their shoulder from their elbow

 

Should I take it out of my Paredolia collection lol
