That's what I found for world so far https://www.pmgnotes.com/priceguide/world-note-price-guide.aspx Anything else?
Can I ask, what your trying to look up ? Some guides and sites have very limited Listings so if I knew what you were looking For specifically maybe I could direct you To the right place
I'm trying to start a new collection of banknotes currency from around the world and I'm trying to find a price guide resource for that. I'm trying to get an idea about it before I start something I know little about. So far I used the sold listing section on ebay but that's very limited.
I wanna do all raw. I know it will take a while but I'm sure it will be fun. So far it was all coins and us notes for me but I wanna try something different...
I was going to suggest auction house listings, and probably still will, but i am sure just looking for VF+ examples, correct ?
Corect. I'm always looking at auction houses and, for example, yesterday I was looking at some Greece notes form the '40 and '50. I wanted to get them because I liked them but when I checked the price guide I realized that they were asking way to much as a starting bid. Not knowing how much they worth and just buying on impulse will get me in trouble. That's why I wanna have some kind of reference guide to help me make good decisions...specially price differences between grades. As you can tell...I never dealt with world currency before...
Usually you can get most of these notes on the cheap ! so if there ever More the a few dollars i would pass, with the exception of some polley notes.
I'd recommend getting a Krause catalog or a subscription to the Banknote Book, to give you a starting point at pricing. If you're looking for any sizeable number of notes, rummaging through auction listings is going to be a lot of work. A starting point from the catalog, to tell you whether you're looking at a $1 note or a $1000 note, will be helpful.
