Your coin is common for the year of mintage. The Obverse design on the 1968 cent is very close to the edge of the coin. And even more so with a worn Die, as the edge of the die fades away with wear. This progression can be seen on 1960's cents. The Master Die was retooled for issue of the 1969 cent and brought the cent back to a 1909 standard. Here is what the difference look like.
