Collector's Outpost Out of Business?

On December 8, I ordered a few album pages from Collector's Outpost. They really have an excellent selection of album supplies.

It was for Christmas, but I didn't get it in time for Christmas. I thought it might be because of the holiday season. I sent them e-mails and also used their online question form, but never got any responses.

Quite honestly, I forgot about it and today I tried to contact them by telephone. I tried all three of the listed numbers and all are disconnected or "no longer in service"

The website is still up and running fine.

WARNING**** I think the site would take your Paypal or Credit Card info with no problem - trick is, you'll never get anything.

When I find out more, I'll update this thread.

UPDATE: Just tried to e-mail them using the e-mail they sent with the invoice. It bounced back - invalid e-mail address....

Thanks for the alert and information. Site is BookMarked on my scam/crook list along with a multitude of other businesses and individuals...

i have never used them for anything, but will keep in mind NOT to in the future.

I do hope you get the items u ordered eventually. we all work hard for our money - dont like to see it stolen like that!

 

If you paid by Paypal or directly by credit card file a complaint ASAP.

I used Collector's Outpost for several years and had just one small problem that they fixed immediately. They had good prices, good selection, quick and fair shipping, etc. Then, a few months ago, like Pocket Change I tried to order some supplies and I never heard back from them. I gave them over two weeks to acknowledge my order, then I cancelled it. Oh well.....

Hopefully, for your sake, they are just out of order or something temporarily. I doubt it but hopefully. They are in Tennessee and as you may know there was a recent mess of Tornados in that area. One nice thing about this forum is the members are from all over the place. Since that web site you mentioned gave their address and even supplied a map to how to get to thier place, maybe there are some members in that area that could check on that place for you. Sure hope you still get your stuff.
