Looking for help / advice on this coin. Was this a weak strike or someone - somehow rubbing out the D?
Could be a weak strike or most likely a filled die. Maybe a combination of both. Probably not worth much noting the condition.
It doesn't make sense being a weak strike when the date is well defined. It's probably due to a grease-filled die. Chris
