    a Pro Chef kitchen scale won't do it.

    A JEWELERs scale is REQUIRED.

    your food scale will go up to 11lb/5kg
    it's only accurate to the 1 gram minimum .. ie, 1.00 gr it rounds to

    you need hundredths of a gram minimum. such as 1.23 gr

    It weighs 4 grams according to my food scale.

    That scale isn't the type you should be using.

    Your scale is accurate for food.
    It is not accurate for coins.
