I don't see it. I guess my eyes aren't good enough.

    Not seeing a clash either.
It's not your eyes, it's the photos.

Here is an overlay from MAddie Clashes.
the line from the L to the S should be between the o and outside the S. http://www.maddieclashes.com/five-cent-overlays/
The inner part of Jeffersons hair is in relief so it shouldn't show in my opinion. Maybe in hand it looks different.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll add rotated die to the 2x2

Rotated dies aren't going to bring the image any closer to the center of the coin. You are probably seeing something closer to Ghosting, or just simple die wear. I really don't believe it is a clash.

If that's the same coin. Nice clash! Either way nice clash!

Not the same but it’s my 1983 P. Tried to add that info before my WiFi crashed. Sorry, I didn’t mean to confuse anyone just pointing out the clash is dependent on die rotation, not fixed

Actually the last photo is slightly rotated and it is closer to the perimeter. The only way to the image closer to the center of the coin is to have mis aligned dies.

Must be more obvious in hand because I'm not seeing it either. however the 83 you have is fantastic
