I dont think this is the "best" but pretty decent and a great 20th century accomplishment to honor...
I bought one of those for my dad, he served in the Corps from 1974 to 1976 active, and ready reserve till 1980.
Randy, I bought an examples of the Washington $5 gold coin in proof & unc. shortly after they were released & always enjoy looking at them. I was really excited about the whole program of modern commemorative coins when the Statue of Liberty coins were released in 1986, the $5 gold coin impressed me. Over the years I've acquired about 15 different modern gold commemoratives. Sadly most coin collectors have lost interest in this series & most of the gold issues can be bought at melt price or less .

An interesting (IMO) bit of trivia about the first powered flight. The length of it was 120 feet, which is shorter than the length of a B-52 (159 feet). That alone gives you an idea of how much flying advanced in just the first 50 years of powered flight (B-52's came into service in 1952).
