I ordered at my bank here in Austria a pack of 100 USD 1,-- Notes and expected to get the first 2017 notes. Here in Austria we usually get new banknotes when ordering USD. I received a package B79357500A - B79357598A - the last 2 numberes were replaced by F00037557* and F0037558* - but both are not centered correctly. What a find for me!
Sequential star notes are good, especially since yours appear to be CU. Where the centering comes into play is with perfect centering or cut into. Your off-center notes are treated as ordinary CU star notes, good but not great.
What caught my attention to this thread was F-off. That was the typical response during my dating years. Seriously, many years ago I had an interest in star notes and interesting serial numbers. I gave that up to concentrate on coins. I wish I would have kept sone of them.
