Btw they didn't pay me for sale 1210 and other sales . No accounting reports logical to me and other . My coins on NGC average 3400 points. 1000 +- coins handled Many without permission.
Bought sold who knows wha they did but mess me up pretty bad. They where paid in early 2014 in total. Factoids. The end of discussion .

Signatures a great question. You'll have to wait like I do. Todd wasn't on his A game. Trust me.

The old one was closed because, well, see there (last two posts). :) A couple of months later, Hugh started this topic about the outcome so to say. Makes sense to me ...

I have heard similar stories of HA not honoring consignor's reserves and then bullying them into submission when they balk. But not necessarily unique as another auction company manipulated me into pulling reserves saying the items would go a lot higher, nice high end material that ended up going at Bluesheet! Plus Texas is a tougher state for aggrieved parties than say NY or CA so this may be a tough case for the claim. HA also fights like the dickens on returns, even for unimaged items that turn out to be problem items, one major dealer told me he never did business with them again after a return failure.

Chris, it doesn't sound like the matter is closed, though. There are mentions of appeals process, so the outcome is that it's ongoing...

Thank you for sharing . It takes a good man to stand up and share the truth when its not popular. Many wont do it. However they will tell you when one on one. the stories.Their personal stories.

I see that HA has launched a charm offensive on its critics, just look at how they try to make nice with those who are unhappy campers: https://www.yelp.com/biz/heritage-auctions-dallas

And you can be sure they fight to get the negative comments deleted by moderators.

I have heard working there described like a gulag. Looks like some former workers were none too happy: https://www.glassdoor.com/Reviews/Heritage-Auctions-Reviews-E11183.htm And heard of some suicides by workers, probably no connection.

It does not involve Heritage, but I have some valuable coins I am hoping to sell, but worried about being tricked. Either by the auction site, or a grading service. (they are raw coins)
It seems it would be too easy to switch them, sell the lowballs they switched on me for a pittance, (and taking their cut) then making a handsome profit on my high grade originals.
I imagine there might be some company that "fingerprints" coins, so to speak, but its going to cost. And whats to stop them from pulling the same trick? Of course, theres always EBay. Haha

This is getting out of hand. I'm sure many companies have had employees unfortunately end their own lives, with no relation/connection to the work situation, at all. It's simply unethical to mention such events as a commentary (even with caveat) in a thread about a business. Also, I'm not sure relaying hearsay about an ongoing legal matter as "truth," as a certain member has chosen to do.

You don't have to worry about the reputable grading companies switching coins, it would destroy their entire business if they got caught doing that and have no reason to with how much they make grading coins

What's good about buying coins the second time when you add them to your registry you simply put the number in and all other info is already online waiting for recovery.
In my situation someone took the liberty to delete all coins. So they thought.

I recommend Stacks Bowers if you want a large Auction House and info about coins. They are a large Boutque Auction House you can trust

To many others to name on here that are great. A few you should run from.
