I have said it before... Etsy sellers are really ridiculous!

I believe they just list those coins as a joke.. It has to be a joke!

Has to be a joke...unless there has been a moratorium on people being admitted to the psyche ward.

Interesting how they also say "vintage item from the 19--s" as if that justifies the item's price.

Saw one about a year ago that said this coin -Indian Head Cent may have been held by a solider in combat during the civil war. Trouble is the date of the worn Indian was 1880.

These people need to refer to CoinTalk for value of their coins, and, while they're at it, have a look at a history textbook. Next thing they'll say Abraham Lincoln was president of the CSA.

I saw the title, saw the link, and was hoping I might see an actual rarity: an accurately-described, reasonably-priced coin on Etsy.

But apparently that would still be an R10 (pop 0).

True as can be an scary as hell. The lack of wisdom currently posessed by so many today can only be topped by their lack of caring and ignorance to that fact. Coins and collectables is a good example when someone comes across something theyve NEVER seen before!!! Lets say a Steel cent. So since THEYve never seen it before, it MUST be worth a fortune!! And the one that tries to explain the truth behind the item and its value MUST be trying to rip them off!!! Because we're all special and everyones opinion is equally valid and important. Ok...ill stop. That got me worked up a lil for some reason...hahaha....is crazy if the listings a joke. Its sad if its for real....party on fellas!!!

Etsy is a totally amateur nightmare. Seems like mostly kids with poor spelling, grammar and totally useless things for sale. Listia is just a hairs step above.

He wasn’t president. Not according to the South Carolina Capitol building presidential portrait room anyway!
