What you should look for is the Close AM.

Thank you all for your opinions.Ive had time on my hands and have been going thru 25.00 boxes of pennys.I've found a 1914 penny the other day.I was so shocked,I couldnt believe it!!Its not mint or anything but I dont care, its got character!my next question is are these wide AMs worth getting graded?any advice welcome

Depends on the year and the overall condition and eye appeal of the coin in question!

Your Wide AM's are 1 cent. Get graded for what? The fact that you have 3 of them should tell you they are not special. Let's see the 1914 instead.

    1. 1992 Close AM
    2. 1992 D Close AM
    3. 1998 S Close AM
    4. 1999 S Close AM
    5. 1999 Wide AM
    6. 1998 Wide AM
    7. 2000 Wide AM

I had no idea they were so common .I went thru about 200.00 in change to find the ones I did.Heres the 1914.I realize its not worth anything because of its condition, but it will stay in my collection, just because of the way I found it.

Nice. Just a bit of advice. You should always show the front (obverse) and back (reverse) pictures of the coin you have a question about when posting. It helps folks to correctly answer questions about the coin. Keep looking!

The close AM is the normal reverse for 1999. See Michael K's post above, those are the ones you should be looking for.
