It is cool, but I am sure the asking price is ridiculously high.

It's listed at £89.00 in the link.

I found another site selling it for €99.95.

Seems a bit high for 1 oz. of silver but mintage limit is only 999. Not for me.

The zombies are definitely creepy but Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer on the reverse is rather calming.

Non-Circulating Legal Tender. That abbreviation has been used among collectors of non-US coins for decades, but on the US forums once the mint stopped making halves and then later dollar coins for circulation they adopted the abbreviation NIFC Not Intended For Circulation for the same thing.

Somehow I'd gotten the impression that it was supposed to mean Not Issued For Circulation -- a definition getting at release mechanisms, rather than fuzzy "intent".

But I guess I'm in the minority, and in the world of descriptive grammar, that means "I'm wrong".

That is ghastly. Looks like a album cover from a heavy metal band. A band like Stalaggh. Which is some of the most godawful crap I ever heard. And I’m a huge fan of good metal

I'm also a fan of good metal. Stalaggh isn't metal though, I think it's some weird type of electronica, but really can't stand to listen long enough to figure it out.

Several of the GB Conder tokens had the cheery theme shown on the ha'penny below.

It’s noise in my book. I feel the same way. 5 minutes is way too long. I’m mostly classic metal. Iron Maiden my favorite band. But I’m a huge fan of the female fronted symphonic metal from Europe too. But everything depends on my mood. One minute it’s Pink Floyd the next slayer

Lacuna Coil is very good, especially live :)

Agreed Saw them in Boston in August 2017 along with insomnium and Epica who I’m a huge fan of. As to Lacuna Coil been a fan since 2004 or so. And I met Christina she’s very nice was my fiancées first time going to a more heavy metal concert and she loved it. I’ll see if I can get a video to upload

While technically interesting, it's a strong candidate for this year's winner of the "just because you can, doesn't mean you should" category. Wondering if the designer is trying to one-up the Zombucks series, which were probably more popular than the Cook Islands NCLT.

Next year, there'll be one that bleeds if you hold it just the right way.

The coin posted by the OP is a cool coin in my book but not for $119 for an oz. Of course, we don't all like the same coins or tokens and that's a good thing! The hobby would be truly boring if we did. ;)One of my favorite tokens, that I don't own yet, is End of Pain. I like the title, and the token. How about you! There's two or three different reverses for this token, the reverse on this one is not my favorite. :D s-endl1600.jpg s-l1end600.jpg

IDK, I like it. More interesting than other pedestrian designs.i would put it in the top 10% of most modern crap. It is a design you remember, which against a backdrop of infinitely forgettable designs is something.....

We are talking about it aren't we? Can you say the same about most other issues?

Speaking of awards it should be a strong candidate for Most Artistic coin for the year

I think the Eunice Kennedy Shriver 1995 Special Olympics dollar obverse could come in a very close 2nd place...
