very nice! i dont know about value, but those older style notes are getting harder to find - unless, that is, you are lucky enough to go through thousands of them on a dialy basis!

I don't think I'm at the "thousands of them on a daily basis" yet, but I do go through alot. I found 3 1993 $50 from New York District Today and 2 1993 $50 from Chicago District. These are starting to get real expensive to collect.

I actually had to pass on a 1950 $50 Cleveland starting D03 (first Series) today as I just didn't have the spare cash. Too many new collectible notes added to my collection this month :(

I would keep it if you can afford it Dready - They are destroying anything older than 95 and soon it will be hard to find large denomination notes that are not in color.

Nice bill but now to the important stuff, how was the concert? First time watching Van Halen, if not how'd they compare from the last time? They're not coiming to Utah so I'm very jealous.

Thanks I'll keep the note and with David Lee Roth back with Van Halen it was like back in the 80's. They Rocked... John

Actually, I've been finding it more difficult to find the lower denomination notes ($5, $10, $20) from prior to 1996.

More circulation - more ware - quicker to be destroyed? That's my guess. I don't handle much money but I seem to find the same thing. My favorite teller comes up with old 50s and 100s somewhat regularly but not so much on the other denominations.
