I work as a cashier in Tx and save every old or unusual coin that's comes through. For instance, I have collected several dozen half dollars, wheat pennies, silver dimes and a couple of weeks ago a young guy came in wanting a pack of cigars and he had 3 buffalo nickels in his handful of change! However, one of my favorites so far is this 2015 North Carolina quarter, minted in Denver. Can someone please tell me what happened to it? Thank you.
It's damaged. Not an error. Only the person that damaged this poor coin can tell you what they did. You should always post photos of both sides of the coin. Welcome to CT.
Welcome to the neighborhood @AvidCoinster ! As a suggestion, you should try to start each thread in the appropriate forum whenever possible. It's really no big deal, but the Ancients collectors won't find much interest in a modern coin. Chris
As a suggestion, I just recently as of today discovered this website, as there are many others way better. Maybe you should take need and be grateful people visit the site, as I really found nothing I was looking for.
I don't have to be grateful to anyone who can't accept a little constructive criticism. Go ahead and leave. I'm sure it won't be any loss to us. Chris
