1982 D Is this DDO ?

    I figured it might be because of the die scratch above the T in cents and from the top of the E in ONE to the bottom of the C in CENT

    Yea I can see the die scratches look like a die scratch going straight down ur N on in

    Unless it can be proven with 100% certainty that a reverse die was paired with a specific obverse die, you cannot use markers on that reverse die to match it to a specific obverse variety.

    Are you @abelincoln64 sure this 1982 D small date isn't a copper coin? What's the weight?

    Always look for the doubling first, then the markers.

    All I see is some dings and nicks from circulation, plus some pretty bad hits on the rim.
