GTG 1901 IHC

Nothing spectacular, but a nice one that I picked up cheap. I agree with the assigned grade and color. It has somewhat muted luster, but full cartwheels on the obverse and reverse.

63RD - nice coin!

 

Tricky coin. Could be RD or RB.

Im gonna say 63RB

 

Ratty looking, but still Red. Should be a 61, but that would be a rare grade for a red, if so.

I think the darker patina of what looks like a bearded Liberty and my poor photography skills are throwing some of you off. I think it’s a 64 as far as contact marks, but the darker raised portions certainly don’t add to the eye appeal. I agree with the 63 RB net. @Evan8 wins the bragging rights.

 

Yay I win. 63 was my gut instinct even from the pics. The color was throwing me off a bit, but to qualify for RD there cant be any brown areas. So after thinking about it, I had to say RB as there was just too much brown on the coin to be called red.
