And he responds with a blow to the groin.

They step back to their corners then circle around staring -- it is anyone's fight now.

Oh, look they are moving into the center of the ring, and ........

He said it right when he said you can;t make everyone happy. This im sure is true.

I would like to ask a question. How do we know this seller is not going to switch the coin with another to send it to NGC?

best not to deal with a seller who doesn't offer a satisfaction guaranteed, money back no questions asked return policy within a reasonable time, and no restocking fee...all the whining about making a living is just that...plenty of people out there making money NOT charging such a thing...there is no such thing as 'restocking', that is just a seller looking to still make a bit of money off a dissatisfied buyer...or not to lose money off of one. Sometimes you have to take the loss if the buyer is dissatisfied...hard to believe a person with a brick and mortar store doesn't understand this...but then again coin sellers in stores often dont follow very good business practice which is why, at least around me, they come and go. Most legit stores do not charge restocking fee...took something back to Kohls the other days...full return no questions asked :)

while i agree with this 100% fact is...if you bid on something and the seller does have such policies, then its your fault when those policies get enforced. noone makes another person bid on anything on ebay and when you do, do your homework by reading up on such things BEFORE you bid or dont use ebay. it really is that simple.

i think restocking fees are pure 100% bovine fecal matter straight from the cows patoot BUT...as a consumer in a free market i can choose not to do business with people who have such policies.

im extremely picky, which is why i have only bought two items on ebays in the total of 6 years ive been there. if i dont like the price, the return policy, the shipping cost, even the way they misspell a word i wont bid. its just that simple. my expectations are high and while ive only bought two items, ive been pleased with both and have zero complaints.

you know, ounce of prevention, pound of cure....penny wise, pound foolish? yeah this applies here.

although Khols may not charge a restocking fee there are plenty of Companies that do. I know for a fact that Best buy charges a 15% restocking fee on any open electronics.

We both have seen the coin and we have pictures of the item. I will also post before and after pictures plus the pictures off of the listing.

    ooph!
And WmsJewelers makes a move, it is a roundhouse shot to the jaw.

    tdec1000 is staggered, but, wait!

He is still on his feet. A little wobbly, but still in there, and he moves to the right, then the left.

What will he do, he shakes off the blow and moves in.........

Look, the point I was trying to make here is that I will never do buisness with this individual again. I wanted the good folks here at Cointalk to see my point. They can make decisions on whether to do buisness with an individual like this. Most have already said they would rather not. They can make their own choices. I have said my peace. I am done with this post and am moving on to other topics good day fellas.

I wouldn't accept a return on an opened coin either, but there is no reason for not accepting coins returned in their unopened packaging. It's not that hard to seal a coin with seal that is tamper resistant.

    gatzon:
I can't argue, but: just for my info, are you talking about those plastic sealers?
You know, the ones that form a crease across the plastic and seal the coin in?
    Aren't they expensive?
Or, how else can you seal the coin that would be tamper resistant?

You will never do business with me again because the fact that I blocked you from bidding on my items. I am not sure why you will not take my bet. Maybe your are not so sure that the coin is original. I am so certain that it is and it will be slabbed that I am willing to risk $150.00 on it. That is alot more then the coins value.

I guess I will just take the advice from my lawyer and start reporting all non paying bidders on ebay to the credit bureaus so they can let there credit suffer just as they have let my business suffer.

A fair dealer makes more then a crooked dealer in his lifetime. Think what you will of me and my restocking fee. This policy would not be in place if it wasn't for BAD BUYERS bidding on coins knowing that they will send 9 out of 10 back. This is a waste of the dealers time and in a business where time is money I can not afford to waste my time dealing with people that do not want me to make any sort of living. If I really wanted to go broke I would just sit at home and drink coffee and watch TV.

Use a 2x2 cardboard flip, put a personal mark on the flip, then tape the edges of the flip with a tape that guarantees to damage the white paper when removed.

Sure the tape can removed with heat applied, but then the plastic in the flip shrinks and makes it obvious that heat was used.

    Cheap and simple.

I may end up doing that on any 2X2's i sell on ebay...thanks for the idea!

It has been years since I sold on ebay so I don't know what brand/type of tape to recommend, but I suggest that before implementing, to actually try a few different types of tape, tape up a 2x2, then try to remove the tape with and without a hair dyer. Make sure the tape you use requires more heat to remove than the plastic can handle.

    Enjoy.

just encase them in acrylic with your name and a serial number so they cant switch em out. lol

  21. gatzdon

What's the price per coin on that? Remember, the profit margins for legit sellers usually isn't that large. But if there is a good source of acrylic cases for less than 5¢ to 10¢ per coin, that is also a very good idea.
