Hello ! I have this Georgia state quarter and am wondering if it is a mint error ... ? It is bizarre to me the way the edges look melted and smashed ! Please share your opinions and or insight ..and thank you !!
Wow that is absolute garbage. I've seen some destroyed coins on here over the years but that is one of the most mangled that I've seen. Junk. Spend it, if anyone will take it
If I had one guess, I would say that someone had a run-in with Georgia State Police on I-75 or I-95, and they never want to see the State of Georgia again. Chris

Looks like it was caught between the bumpers on 2 semi trucks during 90 mph. Very damaged and not an error. Welcome to CT.
