Doug do you know what DD means? It means Doubled Die error where the coin was struck with a die that was made when they impressed the die twice but between impressions the die rotated slightly or otherwise moved a bit (a little simplified but gives you the gist of it). Then the error die is used to strike coins. All coins struck with that die show basically the same markings. These true DD errors are well known and documented so you can look up the dates as a first step if you suspect your coin could be one of these errors. Please take a bit of time to look closely at the coin then look for information on that date then if you think you have a DD post it here for confirmation. Just posting pictures of pocket change gets old for some folks. Keep looking though and good luck!
