Not really. I think I may have found 1 silver and that was ages ago. I hear people have better luck with these than nickels.

I found a couple decent wheats today 44 and 58.
But it's starting to feel like just going through the motions.

$100 CWR Nickels: 17 average circulate ranging from '39-'59

    $300 CWR Dimes: Skunk

$200 CWR Halves: Skunk. The bank had $750 rolls all dropped by the same customer. I like to pretend I'm dedicated enough to hunting to go after all of them, but after seeing my sample I'm not in a hurry.

$17.50 CWR Cents: 17 old rolls marked "memorial" and 18 old rolls marked "wheat." I ended up with 925 wheats in circulated or better condition ranging from '29-'58. There wasn't anything really special in the batch, but it was wild seeing all of them pour out. The newest coin of the bunch was dated 1974. The pic of loose coins is from the last $5 getting sorted.

I bought 1 dime box once. I found 1 silver dime. I believe 1 silver dime per box is the long-term average for most folks who search dime boxes. I never bought another box because dimes are too small for my fingers to efficiently handle, AND the dimes are too small for me to easily see dates!

Lon Chaney you still might find silver, I have pulled silver out of many boxes that contained many marked coins. You still may get lucky

Glad to see some of you are getting some silver, my last four boxes from last week yielded me 3-40%ers, 2-65 and 1-67, The start to this week is another skunk start to the week all four boxes zero silver. Good luck everyone.

I got another 'Fed' box from the bank in our town.
Through 5 rolls no wheat and a couple (81 & 82) of copper that may be perfect.

I don't do boxes, but most weeks I gather up about $300 in customer wrapped dimes. More often than not I pull one or two silvers from the mix. Occasionally I land a roll that's much, much better.

Recent Half Dollar Searches: 4 straight boxes (2 Loomis & 2 Brinks), $140 MWRs, $27 partial bag, $20 loose - All Skunks! Only saving grace was finding 4 more 1974-D DDO. Picking up my last box today, hope it's a turnaround box. January was great, February not so good. Anybody finding silver?

The peace dollar does not belong in there but I already had a collage made and I value opinions as to whether it's a doubled die or not. Cheers!

I see absolutely no doubling on any of the pics.

Hey guys. I finally hit something kinda good. Bank had some OGP rolls of presidential dollars. Bank had more but I ran out of cash. Will get the rest later.

I am curious what to do with them. I could open them and check for missing edge lettering (4 of them are george Washington where it was missing the lettering). I could try to list them on Ebay , but the profit margin is soooo small it's probably not worth it. Or I could sell them individually?

I cant see myself throwing them back into circulation lol.

What do you guys usually do if you find these? 20190222_173616.jpg

I've always opened and tossed them back. I think that is what I am going to do with the OGP Sac dollars I picked up today.
