I don't recognize it, but from the latin and lead, I would venture to guess that it's a banker's official weight; middle ages. Let us know if you find out more in the event a forum member doesn't know.
I've found similar lead items myself, with quite varying lettering or detail, and was informed by my local liaison officer that they were traders weights. Normally around the 2-5g mark, and normally dating around 1300-1600 AD. Interesting yours has hand scribed possible signature on reverse though
Thanks BusterLuke..I totaly agree that this is a weight..On that field, in the past, I found lot of Byzantine coins from 6th and 7th century, and a lot of Gepids artefacts and coins..I believe, because of letter S, this weight belong to, perhaps, Gepid tribe..
