99% of collectors keep their coins in flips, slabs, and bags. What alternate, unorthodox or just outright strange methods of storage or presentation have you seen or done?

For storing bulk with some care, there are plastic tubes. Some here have mentioned using old medicine bottles.

Plastic baby-wipe boxes. For many of us, there comes a time when suddenly there are LOTS AND LOTS of those accumulating...

Should your quote read "ad astra per aspera"?

M&M mini tubes fits quarters well. Also gives the collector a little treat before usage. Coinsafe and Numistubes do not come with any goodies inside, and it comes in a variety of colors.

0C39C6C4-F557-4E2F-A93D-9FEAEE44B290.jpeg I store all my super low end and near cull ancients in a cigar box. My better quality ancients are in flips, and my culls I just store in a large plastic bag.

I use the M&M mini tubes for soprano saxophone mouthpieces

What great incentive to eat more M&M mini's! Meow is an Axeslinger and uses a KittyKat Koinpurse as a accessory container. Of course they are stored for use with a Jackson Bengal Tiger KV2, when a pick or two slips out the paws and gets lost.
Meow too uses Ammo boxes. But Meow's OCD or Cat Crazies, mandate they all be stored away in neat rows. It also maximizes the storable amount, and allows one to keep a count on the total amount of coins.

I collect guitar picks of famous folks & friends. I've got quite the collection actually.

We saw these four guys perform last Thursday in Natick Massachusetts. Check-out their work:

Does Meow have any YouTube videos?

Sorry but no. Maybe one day. Do any of your famous friends use Tortex picks too? Meow likes the yellow .73mm ones. Used on .009 Elixir strings. Any of them heavy Floyd Rose users?

I and my kids use Tortex picks. I prefer the purple 1.14mm ones but one of my son's like the yellow .73mm ones he plays a Schecter Diamond Series.

My other son uses a Jackson King V Guitar too and an early 1980s solid Epiphone, and I play an early semihollow Epiphone.

So does this mean coin collectors know how to Rock? Meow is a Metalhead from the 80s.

I think my kids are metalheads from the 80s. I'm a jazz player whether it's sax, trumpet/flugelhorn, piano or guitar jazz.

There are several Tortex users. The lead guitarist for Britt Floyd and the lead guitarist for Australian Pink Floyd both use Tortex.
