1896 S Liberty Gold

    I purchased this coin last night. What do you all think it would grade and be worth. Thanks. I'll tell you what I paid a bit later.

    My grade guess would be AU55, as it appears to show light wear on Liberty's face and hair. And I'd figure its value at approximately $950.

    I was hoping for a MS. Anyone else care to offer opinions. When I have the coin in hand I will post my own photos. Thanks.

    Beautiful Coin...the scans are a bit to be desired however I took the image and adjusted it to get a better look. I think the coin will go MS61-MS62. Cant wait till you have better photos!

    I would say its in the low MS60's I have 2 of them.

    Press and hold Ctrl on your key board then press the + key on your Numbers pad on your key board. It will zoom in on the whole screen. I learned that from a blind guy. lol not kidding. :)
