winter storm. Most snow in 20 years which is rare for my part of California. Several trees came down two on the house. No power Cale or anything and cell is very spotty. Just wanted to let people know I will not likely be able to communicate. Certainly orders will not go out. Will be days to get figured out. To make it worse we are leaving on Friday for Europe. Please bear with me if you placed an order.
Stay Safe Ken! We are also getting hammered by the "atmospheric river" with high winds and rain, though the power has not gone out yet. Hopefully things will slow down in the next 24 hours.
Keep us in your mind Ken, and may the Lord protect you with your family. Bon Voyage. Sincere wishes..
Worst possible timing! I had a tree guy out first thing. He answered his phone at 2 AM and he showed up at first light. Great guy. But he can’t do anything until the city gets the live power lines out of the street and they are busy with dozens of other issues. One tree came down on top of the house in two places and has our cars locked in the garage. Not a good situation. This will be the biggest pain in the rear for the year I am sure but it will give some nice memories. Sad to see that magnificent old tree be taken out. It’s about 75 years old. Let’s see if my cel signal can get this image out:
Sorry you have to deal with this Ken. Take care of yourself and family. I hope you can still get to Europe.
Sorry to hear the bad news Ken. Fire & Ice over the last few months must have you stressed. Don't worry about anything else except taking care of your family and homestead. -Doug A.
Wow, Ken... first the fires and now this? I'm so sorry! I hope things get put back together quickly and that your trip isn't too badly affected.
Ken, sorry to see this happened to you guys. You might want to consider cutting down any of those trees that are close to your house. I had one like yours that was on the fence line of my back yard in my neighbors yard. I was so worried it would come down during a storm. My neighbor was nice enough to cut that sucker down.
Yes, stay safe Ken. No power in winter storms are no fun! Hopefully you won't have to put off your European trip.
