Excited but torn update

Sorry about the pic mix-up. Here's all 6 pics. I just noticed the 9 and 7 on both enders seem to be hollowed out in the middle. What the heck is that.

Damage from the roll crimping machine.

 

Oh, O.K. maybe, but it's odd that it's in the middle of the numbers. Also notice how it follows the curve of the 7, and both the 7 & 9 in one pic. I have no idea, been sitting in the attic for 40 years. Seem to have lost the ability to go to full reply to add pics.

 

A better and maybe a more accurate diagnostic could be made if you post a full photo of the coin. Both sides.

 

I'm sure your right, but I think for now I've decided to leave the roll intact.
